Sticky notes -commonly referred to as Post-it notes- are fantastic. They have been recognized as one of the most-used tools for creative processes since Dr. Spencer Silver from 3M accidentally invented them back in 1968. They are easy to use, relatively cheap and are a great facilitator in the design methods where people from various backgrounds collaborate. As a tool, it is widely accepted and used in creative processes, yet there are not many empirical investigations on the outcomes of using it. Moreover, like every other tool in the market, it has its complications and limitations. In this study, I am interested in answering some questions like: Why are they so popular? What are the overall impacts of the Post-it Notes in creative practices? What are the benefits or promises as intermediary objects? Also, do they cause any complexity in digesting or synthesizing information? Also, the further the research goes, I will develop concepts and conduct experiments to advance the tool and explore the effects of those concepts on the design related methods.
I foglietti adesivi – solitamente chiamati Post-it – sono fantastici.

Abstract
Also, the further the research goes, I will develop concepts and conduct experiments to advance the tool and explore the effects of those concepts on the design related methods.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
