Oltre vento. L'infrastruttura leggera come opportunità per la rigenerazione di uno spazio urbano

This project aims to combine two themes that have become extremely relevant: light infrastructures and the regeneration of open spaces. Light infrastructures are to be considered as a tool for sustainable mobility and therefore possible response to the probelm of pollution and traffic congestion in our urban realities and they also give us the opportunity to rediscover territories, landscapes and cultures. These light infrastructures can be used for the regeneration of open spaces in an urban context. These spaces would only constitute areas or transit points but thanks to light infrastructures they are made visible and livable: they are used for leisure activities, as meeting points or just as relax spaces where both residents and tourists can go.

Il presente progetto si propone di coniugare due temi divenuti di estrema attualità: le infrastrutture leggere che, strumento per una mobilità sostenibile e quindi possibile risposta al problema dell’inquinamento e del congestionamento del traffico nelle nostre realtà urbane, costituiscono anche il mezzo per la riscoperta di territori, di paesaggi, storie e culture; e la rigenerazione di spazi aperti, che, nell’ambito di un contesto urbano, costituirebbero solo delle aree o punti di transito e che invece l’infrastruttura leggera rende finalmente visibili e vivibili per le attività di svago, momenti di incontro o più semplicemente per il relax sia per i residenti che per il visitatore occasionale o abituale.
