Service design applied to integrated facility management. Experimental application to Bodio Center Campus

“I think Service Design should be the heart of Facility Management. It brings a lot of very effective methods and helps to create enthusiasm and motivation within systems of services”. (Brigitte Mager, 2019) In this thesis we will take an in-depth look at how Facility Management can benefit from working with service design. The thesis shows how the core activities of design thinking – research, ideation, co-design and implementation – were planned and managed as an iterative design process capable of bringing innovative solutions to increase the quality of the Integrated Facility Management.

(Brigitte Mager, 2019) In questa tesi daremo un'occhiata approfondita a come Facility Management può trarre vantaggio dal lavoro con la progettazione dei servizi. La tesi mostra come le attività fondamentali del Design Thinking – ricerca, ideazione, co-progettazione e implementazione – siano state pianificate e gestite come un processo di progettazione iterativo in grado di portare soluzioni innovative per aumentare la qualità del Facility Management Integrato.
