The project ‘Nation house’ is a new public complex in the middle of Vilnius, Lithuania which represents a nation as well as it is a new symbol of the city. This document explores historical events in Lithuania along with styles of architecture during 19th-20th centuries which have contributed to the formation of the current state. The crucial part of the research is Lithuanian identity which manifests through various type of objects and architecture. The last part contains analysis of the site urban context and the research implementation into an actual complex of Nation House on the Tauras Hill.
