Abstract
Space and time are abstract concepts, and architecture and memory are the expressions. How to make people feel the existence and flow of memory in a physical space is the focus of the research and practice in this thesis. The topic was a competition promoted in 2014 by ArkxSite, inviting participants to develop a compelling idea for the design of a contemporary Site Museum for the Castle, within a selected area. In the thesis the aim goes deeper - the role in the town and more intervention in the site. Montemor-o-Novo is a small town in Evora, Portugal.
