Process mining is a relatively new field in business and informatic research, devoted to process discovery, comparison and enhancement through data gathered by information system. This work aims at providing a clear and sharp view over this theme and, most of all, develop a method to implement it into reality. The scope is to communicate practical, measurable and valuable results.
Il process mining è un tema relativamente nuovo che si propone di usare i dati raccolti tramite information system per disegnare, comparare e migliorare i processi. L'obiettivo di questa tesi è rispondere a domande di ricerca in merito a questo tema attraverso un'analisi della letteratura e lo sviluppo di un metodo per l'applicazione ad un caso pratico in ambito bancario.
