As a carefully designed city, Barcelona has several axes for the urban context and some of them can even be traced back to a long history. These axes connected the city's landmarks and, in the meantime, they are also the organizers of the urban context by building special joints at the intersection of two axes and acting as channels and links for transport and the lives of citizens. The position of the city is generally defined by natural elements as they are always seen as the boundary or the constraint of the city. The Besos River, which crosses Barcelona from the northern mountains towards the southeast and reaches the sea, is part of the northern limit of the urban area. The fairly wide banks of the Besos river offer citizens one of the most important green areas within the urban area and also offer wild lives an ecological corridor from the mountains to the sea. Being one of the few natural greenlands of the city, what we do along the river is the introduction of green and open spaces in the adjacent urban context, creating a linear green park where factories and crowded neighborhoods are located. The linear park plays the role of a connection between the river and the railway lines which is another axis and limits near the river as a sort of artificial green space in which certain public services are found. In the joint point of the river and of the railway lines, it finds the Parc de la trinitat surrounded by viaducts and transformed from a little unimpressive land and moreover there will be a new railway station according to the regional plan. The new railway station means an influx of passengers and visitors that will be an opportunity to activate this region where it has always been disturbed by heavy traffic that left no space for visitors. We take the land on the other shore and we respond to the circular circle with a circulation to take visitors from the station to the park and the old factories that are next to the park and will be transformed into an artistic neighborhood that arrives at the museum on the other bank to have the two banks joined by pedestrian traffic.

Abstract
We take the land on the other shore and we respond to the circular circle with a circulation to take visitors from the station to the park and the old factories that are next to the park and will be transformed into an artistic neighborhood that arrives at the museum on the other bank to have the two banks joined by pedestrian traffic.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
