Experience in developing a Web based asset management application for manual recognition of product images referring to the same article for a big data industry

With the emergence of big data and the role that it is playing on the day to day basis, it plays an important role to business executives, where they solely rely on structured data collected.The web application is composed of two separate projects, which are: - Asset Management: A web-based application, allowing the user to compare the image of different products, and filter them accordingly. -Board Project: A separate web-based application, which gave the freedom to users to tag the products and categorize them.

Con l’esigenza di trattare grandi quantità di dati (“big data”) e con l’importante ruolo che questo tema ricopre quotidianamente in ambito aziendale, si può attualmente solo contare sulla strutturazione e organizzazione dei dati. L’applicazione web è composta da due progetti separati: - Gestione delle risorse (Asset Management): applicazione web che permette all’utente di eseguire una ricerca comparando le immagini di diversi prodotti e filtrarli di conseguenza. - Classificazione (Board): applicazione web che da all’utente la possibilità di etichettare i prodotti e categorizzarli
