The present document has the objective of theorizing a process of building construction realized with the support of BIM instruments. The research proposes and analyses the different phases of the process, from the pre-selection of the enterprise to the delivery of the model used during the entire building’s life cycle. It also examines the verification and coordination information flows, the characteristics of the elements supporting the process and the specifications of the individual models. To reach the final idea was studied the history and the Building Information Management regulation, using scientific articles, theses, and books, as well as voluntary British technical standards. The elaboration finds its fulfilment in a real study case, still under construction, analysed and compared with what has been theorized.

Abstract
The present document has the objective of theorizing a process of building construction realized with the support of BIM instruments. The research proposes and analyses the different phases of the process, from the pre-selection of the enterprise to the delivery of the model used during the entire building’s life cycle. It also examines the verification and coordination information flows, the characteristics of the elements supporting the process and the specifications of the individual models. To reach the final idea was studied the history and the Building Information Management regulation, using scientific articles, theses, and books, as well as voluntary British technical standards. The elaboration finds its fulfilment in a real study case, still under construction, analysed and compared with what has been theorized.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
