Sustainability has become one of the key aspects of development of any company operating nationally as well as globally. Today’s Competition is not between companies, but it’s between Supply chains. So, in order to become a leader in any field, there must be a progressive level of Sustainable Supply Chain. Sustainability improves the development and existing system of the company’s value chain and their efficiency life cycles. Particularly, we mainly concentrate on the Apparel Industry. The purpose of this work is to evaluate how particular companies implement the sustainable development by considering the significant changes of Economic and Social-Cultural value chains and sustainability. Our focus is based on how company works and how they plan for their future, throughout their value chains to become more sustainable. This is performed by taking into consideration of the Multiple Case studies of the specific companies. The needed information of the companies is gathered via Internet or by company website. The analysis of these thesis is done theoretically which shows how studied companies work effectively with Sustainable Supply Chain development and how far they are implementing these continuously every year. In order to analyse the outbound and inbound supply chain of the company, fisher and lee model played the vital role along with that sustainable tools like circular economy, technological innovation, cleaner production and sustainable consumption and finally about transparency. The challenges in implementing the changes are described.
La sostenibilità è diventata uno degli aspetti chiave dello sviluppo di qualsiasi azienda che opera a livello nazionale e globale. La concorrenza di oggi non è tra aziende, ma tra catene di approvvigionamento. Quindi, al fine di diventare un leader in qualsiasi campo, ci deve essere un livello progressivo di filiera sostenibile. La sostenibilità migliora lo sviluppo e il sistema esistente della catena del valore dell'azienda e i suoi cicli di vita in termini di efficienza. In particolare, ci concentriamo principalmente sull'industria dell'abbigliamento. Lo scopo di questo lavoro è valutare come particolari aziende implementano lo sviluppo sostenibile considerando i cambiamenti significativi delle catene del valore economico e socio-culturale e della sostenibilità. La nostra attenzione si basa sul modo in cui l'azienda lavora e su come pianificano il loro futuro, attraverso le loro catene del valore per diventare più sostenibili. Ciò viene eseguito prendendo in considerazione gli studi di casi multipli delle società specifiche. Le informazioni necessarie delle società vengono raccolte via Internet o dal sito Web dell'azienda. L'analisi di questa tesi è teoricamente dimostrata dal modo in cui le aziende studiate lavorano efficacemente con lo sviluppo della catena di fornitura sostenibile e fino a che punto le stanno implementando continuamente ogni anno. Al fine di analizzare la catena di approvvigionamento in entrata e in uscita dell'azienda, il modello Fisher e Lee ha svolto un ruolo vitale insieme a strumenti sostenibili come l'economia circolare, l'innovazione tecnologica, una produzione più pulita e un consumo sostenibile e infine la trasparenza. Vengono descritte le sfide nell'attuazione delle modifiche.
