In today's industrialized world, where many countries, industries and large companies are competing with one another, the most important advantage that can makes a winner company in this competitive market is to find potential competencies and opportunities and improve them. These abilities and opportunities are sometimes hidden in the nature of companies that managers can find and improve with managerial tricks, including the innate capabilities of employees that managers can realize and use them to grow their company and sometimes need a tool to find and nurture them. Since managers need to start with their assets to find or build on these capabilities or opportunities. Assets can be divided into 2 divisions of 1. manpower, 2. machines & buildings. Paying attention to industrial machines and implementing programs to optimally Use these machines in order to improve the company is one of the opportunities that managers can gain by using new software and applications. On the other hand, paying attention to human resources and meeting their needs, paying attention to their physical condition and protecting them in the workplace is another factor that can enhance the motivation of employees and give them the opportunity to fully develop their talents and abilities. It should be noted that in the field of optimum utilization of industrial machinery there has been a great deal of research over the years, including the introduction of efficiency and utilization indicators, quality, accessibility, reliability and 5S, etc. The output of using these researches in the real environment is to increase the strength and productivity of companies, creating competitive advantage for them, creating a safe environment for employees and using of the most of their capabilities. To this end, the issues of performance enhancement have been the focus of major industry managers in recent years to the extent that some of the world's largest companies have developed algorithms tailored to their conditions for better productivity and optimum using of machines and industrial environments. One of the interesting parts in this regard is finding the most suitable and optimal place for industrial machines, buildings and corridors, because if the machines are installed in an optimum place, they can reduce costs as much as possible and increase productivity and effectiveness of company. In the past years, various algorithms and applications such as ALDEP, CORELAP, CRAFT, Block Plane and Hollier, etc., have been introduced to the market that have attracted the attention of many industries because the general concept of these algorithms is to find the most optimal places for industrial machines to reduce overall factory costs. According to the description given, in this thesis, we try to focus on the concept of productivity in the 2 sections: machines and manpower by using an algorithm for finding an optimum location for industrial machines and taking into the account the issue of minimizing the risk indicators(to operators and machines). Overall, this algorithm provides a space for machines that is optimal in both side: cost and environmental hazards. In order to achieve this goal, a new algorithm with cost, risk and health indicators will be introduced also in this research work, this algorithm has been coded in MATLAB (app designer) software in order to implement case studies and to better understand the process. In the second part of this research work, the importance of finding the right location and number of corridors for handling and storage of materials is presented, and an algorithm that will be introduced will show the optimum place and number of passageways in departments.
Nel mondo industrializzato di oggi, dove molti paesi, industrie e grandi aziende sono in competizione tra loro, il vantaggio più importante che può rendere un'azienda vincente è quello di trovare potenziali competenze e opportunità e migliorarle. Queste sono a volte nascoste nella natura stessa delle aziende, comprese le capacità innate dei dipendenti, che i manager possono far crescere ed utilizzare per migliorare l’azienda. Sovente, sono necessari strumenti per poter scovare e favorire queste abilità. Il punto di partenza sono le risorse a disposizione dell’azienda. Queste possono essere divise in: 1) Manodopera; 2) Macchinari ed edifici. Prestare attenzione alle macchine industriali e implementare programmi per utilizzarle in modo ottimale al fine di migliorare l'azienda è una delle opportunità che i manager possono sfruttare utilizzando nuovi software e applicazioni. D'altra parte, prestare attenzione alle risorse umane e soddisfare le loro esigenze, preoccupandosi della loro condizione fisica e proteggendole sul posto di lavoro, è un altro fattore che può accrescere la motivazione dei dipendenti e dare loro l'opportunità di sviluppare appieno i loro talenti e le loro capacità. Va notato per quanto riguarda l’utilizzo ottimale delle macchine industriali, nel corso degli anni sono state effettuate numerose ricerche, tra cui l'introduzione di indicatori di efficienza e di utilizzo, qualità, accessibilità, affidabilità e 5S, ecc. Il risultato dell'implementazione di queste ricerche nell'ambiente reale è quello di aumentare la forza e la produttività delle aziende, creando un vantaggio competitivo e un ambiente sicuro per i dipendenti, utilizzando quindi al meglio le loro capacità. A tal fine, negli ultimi anni i temi del miglioramento delle prestazioni sono stati al centro dell'attenzione dei principali manager del settore, al punto che alcune delle più grandi aziende del mondo hanno sviluppato algoritmi su misura per una migliore produttività e un utilizzo ottimale delle macchine e degli ambienti industriali. Una delle parti interessanti a questo proposito è trovare il posizionamento più adatto ed ottimale per macchine industriali, edifici e corridoi, poiché se le macchine sono installate in un luogo ottimale possono ridurre il più possibile i costi ed aumentare la produttività e l'efficacia dell'azienda. Negli ultimi anni sono stati introdotti sul mercato diversi algoritmi e applicazioni come ALDEP, CORELAP, CRAFT, Block Plane e Hollier, ecc. che hanno attirato l'attenzione di molte industrie. Questo perché il concetto generale di suddetti algoritmi è quello di trovare il posizionamento ottimale per le macchine industriali al fine di ridurre i costi complessivi di fabbrica. Seguendo la precedente descrizione, in questa tesi cerchiamo di focalizzarci sul concetto di produttività legato alla seconda tipologia di risorse: macchine e manodopera, utilizzando un algoritmo per trovare la posizione ottimale delle macchine industriali e tenendo conto della questione della minimizzazione degli indicatori di rischio (per gli operatori e le macchine). Nel complesso, questo algoritmo fornisce uno spazio per le macchine che è ottimale da entrambi i lati: costi e rischi ambientali. Per raggiungere questo obiettivo, anche in questo lavoro di ricerca verrà introdotto un nuovo algoritmo provvisto di indicatori di costo, rischio e salute, che è stato codificato tramite il software MATLAB (app designer) per implementare casi di studio e comprendere meglio il processo. Nella seconda parte di questo lavoro di ricerca, viene presentata l'importanza di trovare la giusta posizione e numero di corridoi per la movimentazione e lo stoccaggio dei materiali, e l’ algoritmo che verrà introdotto mostrerà la posizione ottimale e il numero di corridoi nei reparti.
