In this thesis, it has been studied the possible implementation of hydrogels, i.e. alginate and pectin, in order to produce a renal in vitro model. A microfluidic bioprinter has been used. The biomaterial-inks and bioinks have been characterized mechanically and biologically, bioprinting HUVECs and Primary renal cells. A comparison between commercial solutions and in-house solutions have been conducted.

Abstract
In this thesis, it has been studied the possible implementation of hydrogels, i.e. alginate and pectin, in order to produce a renal in vitro model. A microfluidic bioprinter has been used. The biomaterial-inks and bioinks have been characterized mechanically and biologically, bioprinting HUVECs and Primary renal cells. A comparison between commercial solutions and in-house solutions have been conducted.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
