Abstract
In the fine chemical and pharmaceutical industry, the reactions are principally conducted in semi-batch reactors. Due to the increasing market request, the shifting of some of these processes from batch to the continuous mode of operation is advisable. In particular, this is possible for fast and direct reactions, for which a mathematical model will be proposed. In this thesis work, the multiple feed semi-batch reactor model is presented and successfully verified through its application on a reaction of the fine chemical industry: the nitration of 4-chloro benzotrifluoride.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
