During the study of the area and the historical context, we generated four main points to understand the territory, using one of the widely used and extremely effective methods of the armies; mapping, setting, managing and controlling. Through these concepts we were able to extrapolate our research and the nodes and then devised the intervention systems depending on the location. The network of pins wants to lead the viewer to observe and live the elements of the landscapes that are currently undervalued and/or unperceived. Starting from the background of the war (Zuel) to the Foreground(Passo Falzarego), ruins and elements of relevance are re-evaluated and emphasized along the whole "line" with different interventions but with specific goals (stasis areas, informative landmarks ...). The idea is to act in a effective way around the "pins" we locate and find them as strategic nodes, but at the same time in a light way along the portions that pass between them by securing routes. Starting from Zuel is possible to observe the redesign of a new space that wants to act as an element of stasis but at the same time to increase the curiosity of the viewers through the axes that compose it and then turn the attention to the path. This route, conceived in the first section as a sort of footprint of the old cable car, crosses meadows and roads and then enters the most dense forest. During the journey it will be possible to linger in the first "pins" which, depending on the locality, will have different characteristics. Before arrive to Vervei, a tunnel that crosses under the “Strada delle Dolomiti” which has been designed to help the latter cross over safely and at the same time refer to the tunnels inside the Lagazuoi Piccolo. Together with this element the path system is developed in steel and corten, detached from the ground to respect the traces present on the site and at the same time underlining its presence. After Vervei, the route crosses other relevant places, such as Rifugio Dibona and the Col dei Bos pass where it dilates and generates new elements, gates, landmarks, increasing their visibility and make easier the stop for the user. After Vervei, the course rests again on the level of the terrain, but it always acts by making certain points safe. Once below the Col dei Bos, in Ospitaletto, the line expands again, generating new elements and spaces also through ramifications. Here the insertion of a mountain shelter inside the ruins, the redesign of the external spaces through new pavements, landmark/gate, and the addition of a metal stair to reach the observation point on the rock tooth to the west, wants to contribute to the enrichment of the area through an improvement in the usability and perception of the area (always respecting its historical memory and landscape features). From here it will be possible to continue on the paths you want and then reconnect to the open-air museum elements currently active in the area (Lagazuoi, Sass de Stria, Cinque Torri). The project proposal is based on this landscape respecting and enhancing all the elements that compose it, but at the same time it wants to mend all the frames that make up this path of war by recreating its continuity, to then graft itself into the already existing open-air museums and complete this important loop.

Abstract
After Vervei, the route crosses other relevant places, such as Rifugio Dibona and the Col dei Bos pass where it dilates and generates new elements, gates, landmarks, increasing their visibility and make easier the stop for the user.
