We define the need to design and development of simulator of logic control blocks for medium voltage apparatus. The function of the simulator is to reproduce high level logic of control system of new generation of smart apparatus. Analysis and optimizations of the simulator were carried out on a medium voltage outdoor vacuum recloser (OVR) in order to augment its performance. The simulator has been implemented into an updated set of Simulink user-defined blocks. The update covers logic blocks for motor controls, position encoders and communication peripherals, also the possibility of starting the simulation from a saved status has been incorporated into the simulator. Additionally, based on the user input characteristics, a graphical user interface has been structured to launch the simulation. A concept system based on this architecture was built and tested by means of a software-in-the-loop test on a medium-voltage circuit breaker (VD4-AF) based on servomotors actuators for steel furnaces application. Several tests cases were done on the system to learn about the working of the system. All of the tests performed were successful.
Definiamo la necessità di progettare e sviluppare un simulatore di blocchi di controllo logico per apparati di media tensione. La funzione del simulatore è di riprodurre la logica di alto livello del sistema di controllo della nuova generazione di apparati intelligenti. Analisi e ottimizzazioni del simulatore sono state eseguite su un richiusore sotto vuoto a media tensione al fine di aumentarne le prestazioni. Il simulatore è implementato tramite una libreria di blocchi Simulink, che è stata aggiornata per comprendere i blocchi logici per il controllo del motore, encoder di posizione e periferiche di comunicazione. E' stata integrata la possibilità di avviare una simulazione a partire da uno stato salvato. E' stata anche progettata un'interfaccia utente per eseguire e verificare le simulazioni. Il simulatore è stato utilizzato per un test con metodologia "software in the loop" sull'architettura di un interruttore di media tensione ABB VD4-AF. Tutte i i casi di test sono stati completati correttamente.
