The use of lean manufacturing can significantly increase the efficiency of the company, focusing on value-adding activities. Also, Industry 4.0 is seen as another promising area in the industry. First, the goal is to use the existing structure to conclude whether lean management and industry 4.0 can complement each other. Secondly, this article discusses how Industry 4.0 can support specific lean manufacturing methods. Considering all these points we will figure out the Lean Manufacturing tools which are digitalised with the help of the industry 4.0 tools and their impact on the industries. This thesis mainly focuses on the adoption state of digital tools of lean manufacturing available in the current market. This research focuses on all the lean production tools which are available in the digital version and the Industry 4.0 tools which helps them to digitalize. The idea of this research is taken from the work of A. Mayr, M. Weigelt et al (2018) “Lean 4.0 – A conceptual conjunction of Lean Management and Industry 4.0”. This work will help in figuring out the improvement in the different operational performances of each digital tools and their impact on the different industry sectors. From this research, the companies, organisation and education institution can capture the information by using the data to understand the digital lean tools and their benefits and outcome.
L'uso della produzione snella può aumentare significativamente l'efficienza dell'azienda, concentrandosi su attività a valore aggiunto. Inoltre, Industry 4.0 è visto come un'altra area promettente nel settore. In primo luogo, l'obiettivo è utilizzare la struttura esistente per concludere se la gestione snella e l'industria 4.0 possono integrarsi a vicenda. In secondo luogo, questo articolo discute come l'industria 4.0 possa supportare specifici metodi di produzione snella. Considerando tutti questi punti, scopriremo gli strumenti di Lean Manufacturing che sono digitalizzati con l'aiuto degli strumenti del settore 4.0 e il loro impatto sui settori. Questa tesi si concentra principalmente sullo stato di adozione degli strumenti digitali di lean manufacturing disponibili nel mercato attuale. Questa ricerca si concentra su tutti gli strumenti di produzione snella disponibili nella versione digitale e gli strumenti di Industria 4.0 che li aiutano a digitalizzare. L'idea di questa ricerca è presa dal lavoro di A. Mayr, M. Weigelt et al (2018) “Lean 4.0 - Una combinazione concettuale di Lean Management e Industry 4.0”. Questo lavoro aiuterà a capire il miglioramento delle diverse prestazioni operative di ogni strumento digitale e il loro impatto sui diversi settori industriali. Da questa ricerca, le aziende, le organizzazioni e le istituzioni educative possono acquisire le informazioni utilizzando i dati per comprendere gli strumenti di lean digitali e i loro benefici e risultati.
