The project goal is to create a path that goes through the rich and poor areas, the Christians and Muslims communities, the most damaged areas and the untouched ones, a path that will bring people together, stitching the wounds that were created by a vicious war, and creating an integrated plan for the city, that will make it function as a whole organism. Moreover, it focuses on the division line where the city was split into east and west parts with a memorial gate building, market and agricultural fields in a hope of inviting people To come back to an area that was once dark and full of agonizing memories, that now is ready to reborn again.

Abstract
Syria a country where a vicious urbicide has been taking place for the last 7 years, through a gruesome act against humanity before materiality. In a war that is consumed within the narrow boundaries of Sykes-Picot agreement, a war fought amongst the people, exhausting every bit of energy of its cities, cities like Aleppo, an ancient city and one of the oldest continuously inhabited cites in the world, that has been building up its layers since the 6th millennium BC. The conflict has reached Aleppo in 2012 causing massive damage and destruction to invaluable monuments and neighborhoods. The city became a battlefield of ideas and ideologies that have brought a tremendous conflicting heritage. Before the war, Aleppo was a city that was mainly divided in two parts. now the city is even more fragmented. Moreover, it focuses on the division line where the city was split into east and west parts with a memorial gate building, market and agricultural fields in a hope of inviting people To come back to an area that was once dark and full of agonizing memories, that now is ready to reborn again.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
