New creative community and social cohesion in casa INCIS

This thesis is an intervention on a post-WW2 building. The site includes a residential tower and a commercial block. After a careful analysis and by interviewing many of the inhabitants, I went through a need-based intervention that completely renovates the yard and extends the roof of the commercial block, while being careful to preserve the heritage and character of the building itself. This intervention is ultimately meant to fulfill the requirements of a neighborhood that wishes to keep up with Milan's growth and innovations among which we find flexible co-working spaces and user-defined spaces.
