The evolution of the culture in the field of employment has been strongly influenced by the progress of technology. Automation has established itself in this colored scenario, distorting the entire system, from organization to the individual employee. Technology is constantly redefining the business not just in the environment but in the method, behaviors and worker’s identity also. The professional world outlines a picture characterized by an occasional, habitual, working and informal relationships. The individualistic imprint has left plenty of room for the physical and multi-channel collaboration, marginalizing the hierarchical structure where necessary. Team collaboration has become essential to business productivity because teams means innovation more rapidly while increasing profitability. The Agile working, now applied in several areas, is used to improve the management of the work process, promoting the flexibility, speed and transparency features. In this context, too, the Agile collaboration has defined itself as an attractor object around which many companies are orbiting, while encountering not a few obstacles. This situation is caused by the organization of the offices, still partly designed to support individual work and not the team fluent work. Agile teams need to use dynamic tools that follow the creative process by adapting and keeping the group constantly moving. The collaborative work is structured through rapid sequences of execution, monitoring and flow regulation activities. Its members need to easily turn between individual and group activities in a multifaceted environment. If in the past the maximum manifestation of cooperation was represented by the traditional boardroom, nowadays, the meeting can take place both in the inside and outside of the office space. The spontaneous collaboration is a value to raise and promoted also through creating an area or providing adaptive tools to overcome the monotony in the way of favoring innovation and creativity. The aim of the research is to bring attention to the most remote principles of collaboration in the workplace. Meetings are the key for creating value, cohesion and innovation. Optimizing meeting efficiency is essential in order to avoid wasting energy, resources and time. Design and technology can converge in a way that create a holistic experience during the meeting. The project is the summary and realization of a research path carried out with the support of To Be Srl., operating in the development of Li-Fi systems and interested in the design of new product s applications, to expand its market towards the Office industry. The concept is developed promoting and enhancing the flexibility of collaboration in both meeting rooms and informal spaces through the application of the Li-Fi system. The hypothesis of the project was developed starting from the identification of unresolved and most widespread problems while carrying out meetings. The deepening of the disruptions has driven the development of a products line that aspires to facilitate and promote spontaneous collaboration. The stylistic standard is developed through the junction of "segments" characterized by different features but linked by the same leitmotif: improving worker’s productive efficiency.
L’evoluzione nella cultura del lavoro è stata fortemente influenzata dall’avanzamento tecnologico. L’automazione si è imposta in questo vivace scenario stravolgendo l’intero sistema, dall’organizzazione aziendale al singolo dipendente. La tecnologia sta ridefinendo incessantemente il lavoro non solo nell’aspetto spaziale ma anche nelle modalità, nei comportamenti e nell’identità del lavoratore. Il panorama professionale delinea un fondo connotato da un intreccio di relazioni, occasionali, abituali, lavorative e informali. L’impronta individualista ha lasciato ampio respiro a forme di collaborazione fisiche e multicanali, emarginando dove ancora necessario la struttura gerarchica. La collaborazione in Team è diventata essenziale alla produttività aziendale perché le squadre innovano più rapidamente aumentando al contempo la redditività. La modalità agile, ormai applicata in diversi settori viene utilizzata per migliorare la gestione del processo lavorativo favorendo la flessibilità, la velocità e la trasparenza. In questo quadro, la collaborazione agile si è affermata come oggetto attrattore intorno al quale molte aziende orbitano, pur incontrando non pochi ostacoli perché l’organizzazione degli uffici essendo ancora in parte progettata per supportare il lavoro individuale non fornisce un giusto supporto al Team. Le squadre agili hanno la necessità di usufruire di strumenti dinamici che seguano il processo creativo adattandosi e mantenendo il gruppo in costante movimento. Il lavoro collaborativo è strutturato tramite sequenze rapide di attività di esecuzione, di monitoraggio e di regolazione del flusso. I suoi membri hanno la necessità di oscillare facilmente tra le attività individuali e gruppali in un’ambiente multiforme. Se nel passato la massima manifestazione di cooperazione era rappresentata dalla tradizionale sala riunioni, oggi, il confronto può avvenire in tutti gli spazi all’interno e all’esterno dell’ufficio. La collaborazione spontanea è un valore da coltivare e promuovere anche attraverso la progettazione di uno spazio o di strumenti adattivi che superino la monotonia favorendo l’innovazione e la creatività. Questa ricerca ha l’obiettivo di riportare l’attenzione ai princìpi più remoti della collaborazione nel luogo di lavoro. Le riunioni sono uno strumento chiave per creare valore, coesione e innovazione. Ottimizzare l’efficienza degli incontri è fondamentale al fine di evitare sprechi di energia, di risorse e di tempo. La progettazione e la tecnologia possono convergere al fine di creare un’esperienza olistica nelle riunioni. La parte progettuale è la sintesi e concretizzazione di un percorso di ricerca svolto con il sostegno dell’azienda To Be Srl., attiva nello sviluppo di sistemi Li-Fi, interessata allo sviluppo di nuove applicazioni in prodotti, per ampliare il proprio mercato verso la divisione dell’ufficio. Il concept elaborato promuove e valorizza la flessibilità della collaborazione nelle sale riunioni e negli spazi informali attraverso l’applicazione della suddetta tecnologia. L’ipotesi di progetto è stata elaborata a partire dall’individuazione delle problematiche irrisolte e maggiormente diffuse durante lo svolgimento di un incontro. L’approfondimento delle interferenze ha permesso la formulazione di un sistema di prodotti che aspira a facilitare e promuovere la collaborazione spontanea. Il principio stilistico si sviluppa attraverso l’unione di “segmenti” con funzionalità diverse ma contraddistinti dallo stesso filo conduttore: migliorare l’efficacia produttiva del lavoratore.
