The detachable hat : a hat design collection using thermoplastic polyurethanes

The fashion industry has developed rapidly in recent years. Ever-changing technology has added impetus to fashion production and many new materials have been used as fashion fabrics. TPU as a recent development and environmental-friendly materials, has been widely used. Designers are paying more attention to the innovative application of materials through the use of their special nature to achieve novel fashion design. This phenomenon fully reflects the pursuit of post-modernism to emphasise personality styles. This paper presents a collection of ‘detachable hats’. These hats can be disassembled and spliced to achieve the goal of being multi-purpose. It also presents an innovative hat design with eco-friendly thermoplastic polyurethanes. TPU film is a type of non-toxic and recyclable natural green environmental protection material. It is waterproof, anti-friction and has high plasticity under high temperatures. Due to these advantages, TPU film material is increasingly favoured in the field of fashion meter. Combining the detachable design with the environmentally friendly transparent material TPU to create adjustable, convenient and versatile hats is a valuable and sustainable innovation.

L'industria della moda si è sviluppata rapidamente negli ultimi anni. La tecnologia in continua evoluzione promuove lo sviluppo della produzione della moda e molti nuovi materiali sono utilizzati come tessuti per la moda. Come un nuovo sviluppo, TPU è un tipo di materiale rispettoso per l'ambiente, che è ampiamente utilizzato. I designer stanno prestando maggiore attenzione nell'applicazione innovativa dei materiali attraverso l'uso della natura speciale per ottenere un nuovo design della moda.
