The development of a protection Speed Skiing helmet. The research starts with an analysis of the principal types of head injury and injury mechnaisms occurred in snowsports and Alpine ski disciplines. After it has been analyzed the helmet structure, in particular the Speed Skiing helmet structure and the european and american standards. Through an interview to the athlete Valentina Greggio, it has been analyzed the user experience, which was essential for the concept development. Finally the helmet has been engineered and subjected to dynamic impact tests, through FEM analysis, to evaluate its level of protection.
Sviluppo di un casco di protezione da Kilometro Lanciato. La ricerca è partita da una prima analisi dei principali tipi infortuni alla desta e meccanismi di infortunio dello sci alpine. E' poi stata analizzata la struttura del casco da sci, in particolare il casco da KL e le normaive europee e americane. Attraverso un'intervitsa all'alteta Valentina Greggio, è stato analizzata l'esperienza dell'utente, fondamentale per la fase successiva di concept. Infine il casco è stato ingenerizzato e sottoposto a dei test d'impatto, attraverso un'analisi ad elementi finiti, per valutare il suo livello di protezione.
