In recent years, the mobile gaming market has undergone enormous expansion due to the increasing computing power of devices, the maturation of their software and their widespread global diffusion. Mobile is currently the fastest growing gaming sector and occupies by far the largest percentage of revenues from advertising and purchases. In such a highly dynamic and competitive market, the creation of a solid client-server interaction in the game that is distributed to the public seems to be essential for its success in the short but above all in the long term. The paper aims to analyze all the techniques used in the development of Super Sailor Run, a causal game developed for Android, to maintain as much flexibility as possible and the ability to customize the user experience instantly and without going through the release of an update. This is made possible thanks to the use of Gamesparks, Amazon's backend platform that offers many services to manage and store all game data through events sent by the client. This means that the client is only a container of data from the server and makes it possible to modify them remotely and an additional level of security against any attempt at cheating and manipulation.
