Networked technology has caused great cultural implication on human’s society. The social relationship has been reshaped along with the formation of our behaviour of using smart devices. In this thesis, we explore to design an interactive fiction game based on conversational AI product that aims at reflecting the potential social impact of technology and persuade users to realise the potential impacts of technology. The game narrative of the designed work is divided into two systems, for the main plot system we proposed a way to provide proactive interaction of virtual assistant through the game process. And for the sub-plot system, we try to discover new possibilities of game narrative with the help of AI story generation, which create story segments from the collected data of the users. The game content is expected to be generated from the individual’s perspective through the combined action of both systems.
La networked technology ha causato grandi implicazioni culturali per la società umana. La relazione sociale è stata rimodellata insieme alla formazione del nostro comportamento nell’uso dei dispositivi intelligenti. In questa tesi, esploriamo la progettazione di un gioco interattivo basato su IA conversazionale che mira a far riflettere sul potenziale impatto sociale della tecnologia nella propria dimensione sociale e familiare. La narrativa del gioco progettato è divisa in due sistemi: la trama principale si basa sull’interazione proattiva con l’assistente virtuale attraverso il processo di gioco. Trame secondarie esplorano invece nuove possibilità di narrativa di gioco con l’aiuto della generazione di storie basata su IA. Il contenuto del gioco viene generato e modificato in base al giocatore attraverso l’azione combinata di entrambi i sistemi.
