Trade, which has been an influential power throughout the history, has not only affected the political balances between states, but has also been the most important tool of intercultural exchange with theworks of art, knowledge and diplomatic gifts. In the wes, Italy, which started to get rid of the dark atmosphere of the Middle Ages with changing mindset of people in the 14th century, has gained an important position in maritime trade with the advantage of its geographical location and its commercial life has been revived. In the east, the Ottomans grew rapidly and conquered Constantinople, one of the most important points of the commercial networks in the 15th century, and attracted the attention of the whole world. In this thesis, based on the strong influence of trade on cultures, the 16th century, the most politically and commercially productive periods of the Ottoman Empire and the Venetian Republic, the two important powers of the Mediterranean were studied and the effects of intercultural shopping on architectural works were analyzed through the works of favorite architects Mimar Sinan and Andrea Palladio. The thesis consists of five chapters and in the first and second chapters, the study has been introduced and the historical background information necessary for the integrity of the subject has been given. In the third chapter, the architectural environment, the life of Mimar Sinan and Andrea Palladio and their architectural styles were discussed. In the fourth section, the buildings, which are thought to be similarities between the works of the two architects, were evaluated on the basis of criteria such as space creation methods, structural solutions and facade characters. In the last section, the study has been described in general terms and the result obtained as a result of comparisons has been explained.
