The research discusses a project for a residential building developed for the middle-class employees by INCIS during the postwar period in Milan when the polulation grew around half a million inhabitants came from around Italy and foreign countries, the reason was Milan became the industrial capital of Italy. SO, Throughout the XX century, social housing has been the main tool used by governments to support social policies, designed to meet the growing demand of “have a home” generated by conditions of backwardness, poverty, significant phenomena of population growth and a general situation of urbanization. Over 99 residential buildings were built between 1945-1975 in Milan and many popular architects contributed in this period to draw the modern Milan such as Bottoni, Gondolfi and others. This research gives us some ideas on how to reuse the ground floor of those residential buildings and enhance the greenery inside and outside of them to fit the new lifestyle demand.
La ricerca discute di un progetto per un edificio residenziale sviluppato per gli impiegati della classe media da INCIS durante il dopoguerra a Milano, quando la polulazione è cresciuta di circa mezzo milione di abitanti provenienti da tutta Italia e dall'estero, la ragione per cui Milano è diventata la capitale industriale di Italia. Quindi, nel corso del XX secolo, l'edilizia popolare è stata lo strumento principale utilizzato dai governi per sostenere le politiche sociali, progettato per soddisfare la crescente domanda di "avere una casa" generata da condizioni di arretratezza, povertà, fenomeni significativi di crescita della popolazione e un generale situazione di urbanizzazione. Tra il 1945 e il 1975 furono costruiti oltre 99 edifici residenziali a Milano e molti architetti popolari contribuirono in questo periodo a disegnare la Milano moderna come Bottoni, Gondolfi e altri. Questa ricerca ci dà alcune idee su come riutilizzare il piano terra di quegli edifici residenziali e migliorare il verde all'interno e all'esterno di essi per soddisfare la nuova domanda di stile di vita.
