As the new industrial revolution began to be mentioned, the challenges and benefits it brought with it began to be questioned. These were often compared with previous periods of change, and whether their benefits would lead to an increase in economies like in the past. Many studies and analysis focused on this comparison. Nevertheless, while the expected progress will be observed and high productivity values are detected especially in digital companies, diffusion to other companies is low. The difference between them shows that the technologies have an effect on the increase in productivity. On the other hand, it also reveals the problems in diffusion. Similarly, emerging technologies threaten companies and market structures, redesigning their production processes, needing new infrastructures and likewise new competencies. At this point, the first leg of the three-step research defines the challenges to encourage competition and innovation while promoting its broad diffusion. The NIS, GPTs, infrastructures and absorptive capacity of firms, which have a great impact on technology diffusion, have been researched to find out which mechanics are effective and how. The second part is devoted to which technologies have an impact and what kind of structures they will change and affect. At this point, while making use of the literature reviews, interviews and surveys, it was intended to understand the potential of the technologies. Finally, the human factor should not be put aside. It is obvious that although there is no consensus on long-term unemployment in the studies, it is seen that the need for employees with certain competencies increases the importance of the investments for a work force with certain qualifications. Research on competencies required by individuals and companies were carried out in the light of both developing technologies and changing culture. At the doors of this future scenario this study aims to identify the factors that are effective in increasing productivity and to understand the ways to improve them.

Abstract
At the doors of this future scenario this study aims to identify the factors that are effective in increasing productivity and to understand the ways to improve them.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
