The question of how to enhance public real estate is a topic widely debated by local administrations and central government. This work was born from the desire to describe new forms of enhancement of heritage. The idea is to free oneself from the traditional approach of asset enhancement, to go in-depth to explore innovative enhancement strategies promoted from below, from the initiatives carried out by local citizenship, defining the extent to which similar actors are able to generate new economic value for the real estate assets. These modern valorisation processes are the driving force for new policies and strategies for the regeneration of urban goods and spaces.
La questione su come valorizzare il patrimonio immobiliare pubblico è un tema ampiamente dibattuto dalle amministrazioni locali e dal governo centrale. Il presente lavoro nasce dalla volontà di descrivere nuove forme di valorizzazione del patrimonio. L’idea è di svincolarsi dal tradizionale approccio di avvaloramento dei beni, per andare ad approfondire innovative strategie di valorizzazione promosse dal basso, dalle iniziative portate avanti dalla cittadinanza locale, definendo in che misura simili attori siano in grado di generare nuovo valore economico per il patrimonio immobiliare. Questi moderni processi di valorizzazione costituiscono il volano per nuove politiche e strategie per la rigenerazione di beni e spazi urbani.
