The jewellery design has been around for as long as human history, dating back from simple beadwork of ancient times, to as modern as the digital jewellery you are wearing. The concept of jewellery has changed dramatically, so has the way of jellwelleries being made. Modern design technology, from software to 3D printing technology, have a huge impact on how designers work. Industrial innovations are informing a new creative movement - the result of the maturing of a new industrial revolution brought about by digital technologies." This movement sees the skill and vision of the craftsman anchored at the heart of a making process, but using new technologies not as tools of mass production but as tools to free the making process from traditional aesthetic expectations and physical material limitations." In this study, we will explore the possible future of jewellery design, empowering craftsmanship with modern application of 3D printing technology.
Il design dei gioielli esiste da tanto tempo come la storia umana, risalente a semplici perline dei tempi antichi, fino ai moderni come i gioielli digitali che indossi. Il concetto di gioielleria è cambiato radicalmente, così come il modo di creare gelatine. La tecnologia di progettazione moderna, dal software alla tecnologia di stampa 3D, ha un impatto enorme sul modo in cui i designer lavorano. Le innovazioni industriali stanno informando un nuovo movimento creativo - il risultato della maturazione di una nuova rivoluzione industriale causata dalle tecnologie digitali. "Questo movimento vede l'abilità e la visione dell'artigiano ancorate al centro di un processo di fabbricazione, ma usando nuove tecnologie non come strumenti di produzione di massa ma come strumenti per liberare il processo di fabbricazione dalle aspettative estetiche tradizionali e dalle limitazioni dei materiali fisici ". In questo studio, esploreremo il possibile futuro del design di gioielli, dando forza all'artigianato con l'applicazione moderna della tecnologia di stampa 3D.
