According to United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs the future of the world’s population is urban. But in reality the planet is already absolutely urbanised and turned into productive engine of the humanity, but in a very diverse manner. Thus, even the remote lands which considered to be wild in fact are exploited by the humanity. However, in this framework of planetary urbanisation this thesis picks up one particular type of condition - Seasonal, which could be represented by small touristic towns with clear on-season and off-season periods during the year. Those towns are stressed by the flood of tourists during summer and experience rapid shrinkage in winter. Through the analysis of features and disadvantages, research on some theoretical and practical studies, testing the workout ideas on the case study of Nin, Croatia, this work proposes the possible way out from the problem of seasonality.
