This thesis is investigating the impact of one abandoned district in Latvia. It aims to find a relation between people of the past and present, objects and spaces in between. This project will play a significant role as a type of link to other abandoned districts and expresses how as a design tool, it can approach different but related disciplines to propose new ideas and insights. This thesis focuses on proposing a new architectural typology in Skrunda-1. The design development process passes through an integrated process which explores the various opportunities for implementation of our design strategies. It proposes an interactive architecture product that follow the brief requirements which is in parallel with different part of the development process as in technology, energy efficieny, and structural design.
