The notion of” work” has changed significantly in recent years, and new products were developed to keep up with this change. One of the most significant changes brought on by information and communication innovations is the possibility of workers to work at any time and anywhere. Notably, in this rapid alteration, a new type of product, which is called “Office Pods,” has recently been launched in order to improve employee wellbeing and productivity. Unlike conventional office furniture, these products are actually referred to as “enclosed spaces” that are produced by office furniture companies. These products have begun to used widely due to their acoustic comfort and isolation features. However, it can be challenging to predict how the product will be used in the future, but understanding private micro-enclosed space within a designed space can guide future improvements. The research aims to understand the socio-spatial meaning of Office Pods to improve employee wellbeing and experience by designing a product that can be integrated with existing Pods. The topic will be discussed in terms of spatial cognition and wellbeing factors through theoretical research, survey, and case studies.

Abstract
The topic will be discussed in terms of spatial cognition and wellbeing factors through theoretical research, survey, and case studies.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
