Abstract
A series of social and economic transformations are affecting society today. The increase in the age of the population has led to a considerable increase in that group of the population that can be defined as “new young people”, that is people who are over 65-70 years of age and who are completely self-sufficient. The increase in the average age of the population has led to a considerable increase in that group of the population that can be defined as “new young people”, i.e. people who are over 65-70 years of age and who are completely self-sufficient. Why?Today there are no structures that gradually accompany the ageing of people: often residential structures that are strictly welfare facilities such as RSAs find themselves having to take care of people who are still perfectly autonomous and independent and who, for various reasons, leave their homes in search of new accommodation. This often does not have to respond to assistance and support of specialized personnel h24: this is why we consider this a valid field of research and interesting future development, especially in Italy where it is not yet very active. The objective of this research is to propose a new way of life, creating intergenerational residences to promote the coexistence of distant generations. Thiscan create processes of mutual collaboration and relationship.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
