The project aims to give a new role to the Thissio district: one of the most neglected areas of the historic center of Athens since the planning, in the urban plans of the 1800s, until today due to the progressive abandonment of the railway station and several surrounding buildings. The project is configured as a landscape infrastructure, which connects today's archaeological area of the Agora with that of the future expansion of the Ceramic, completing the archaeological path designed by Dimitris Pikionis. This infrastructure of the landscape presents itself as a podium: an observatory square that on one side looks to the Acropolis hill and on the other to the great void of the Ceramico area. Below the square are the Thissio metro station and the Ceramico archaeological park
