Impermanenti ceramiche

Impermanenti Ceramiche is a traveling exhibition that displays an unpublished collection of ceramics, the result of contamination between East and West, Material and Form, on the border between Art and Craft. It will go through eight countries in Europe, among those most involved in the contemporary ceramic scenario, presenting for each of them an archetypal form of a ceramic artifact, reinterpreted by the master ceramist Yoshiaki Dobuchi, who will combine these forms, with Japanese clay and Tenmoku finish. The installation suggests a double reading, which is manifested in the choice of the path entrusted to the visitor. Material and Form are, thus, lived and appreciated in two separate moments and in opposition, merging into a unitary interpretation in the heart of the exhibition.

Impermanenti Ceramiche è una mostra itinerante che espone una collezione inedita di ceramiche, risultato di contaminazioni tra Oriente ed Occidente, tra Materia e Forma, sul confine tra Arte ed Artigianato. Andrà a toccare otto paesi in Europa, tra quelli maggiormente coinvolti nello scenario della ceramica contemporanea, presentando per ognuno di essi una forma archetipica di un manufatto ceramico, reinterpretato dal maestro ceramista Yoshiaki Dobuchi, che affiancherà a tale forma, argilla e finitura di provenienza giapponese. L’allestimento suggerisce una duplice lettura, che si manifesta nella scelta del percorso affidata al visitatore. Materia e Forma vengono, così, vissute e apprezzate in due momenti separati e in opposizione, fondendosi in un’unitaria interpretazione nel cuore della mostra.
