Titolo della tesi The asset of a design & engineer in an e-commerce company
Abstract in italiano An online marketplace is a website or mobile application that connects buyers and sellers. Online marketplaces date back to the early days of the internet - eBay, Craigslist, and Angie’s List were all founded in 1995 as the internet was just gaining adoption. Online marketplaces have come a long way and show no signs of stopping. I have done my internship in a company that has created a platform which is a mediator between sellers and marketplaces, which is called Neteven. And the point of this document is to understand all the assets of having a “design & engineering” student for this company, and all the advantages I could get from this experience. In this work, there is a first part about presenting what a marketplace is. Then, descriptions of the company and the platform developed are completed. And, finally, reflections about my internship are carried out.
