Energy transition and climate change induced policies impose wide ranging implications throughout the whole energy system and influence various sectors of the economy and environmental aspects. To analyze different energy transition pathways, climate change mitigation scenarios and economic plans specially in the case developing countries, energy models has extensively used in the recent years. most of the time, energy models focus on specific energy sectors, adopted specific research perspectives, assessing only certain technologies or studying isolated components and factors of the energy system. However a few efforts have been undertaken to successfully model a broader picture of the energy-economic system. In This study, we propose a new hybrid optimization modeling framework based in dynamic input-output model and rectangular choice of technology in a supply and use framework which is able to catch complex dynamics within an economy with specific focus on energy sector. The modeling framework then can be used for policy decision making, energy transition, economic and environmental analysis. We then discuss the way that a model can be set up based on the framework and the capabilities and limitation of the framework which can be addressed in future studies

Abstract
We then discuss the way that a model can be set up based on the framework and the capabilities and limitation of the framework which can be addressed in future studiesFile | Dimensione | Formato | |
