This study consists of the architectural adaptation of the former Agricultural Consortium building, opened in 1936, in Latina, Italy, into a cultural complex, the House of Music and Arts. This project represents the continuation of previous studies carried out at the Architectural Design Studio, in 2018, at the MSc. in Architecture and Urban Design program, from Politecnico di Milano. Since its opening, the ex-agricultural consortium suffered several redesigns and held different activities, such as grain storage, mechanical workshops, offices, exhibition space, until the temporary transfer of the municipal market there, on 2014, which remains until now. The House of Music and the Arts project was idealized in 2004, by the local conductor Claudio Paradiso, and had been on discussion since then. This design proposal houses an archive building, the Music Dictionary, auditorium, exhibition and performance area, conference room for rental, rehearsal rooms and more.

Abstract
This design proposal houses an archive building, the Music Dictionary, auditorium, exhibition and performance area, conference room for rental, rehearsal rooms and more.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
