A technological era is what defines the life we are living in. For many reasons, we are using lots of technology daily using different tools. For these developments to be structured with what we want, our data must be taken and analyzed. Data to be acquired, people’s consent is obtained by them approving the terms and conditions of any needed service, yet the problem relies on the fact that no one seems to read those terms. The World population in 2020 reached 7.8 billion (so far) according to the “WorldOMeter”, the majority of those people follow a Religion. In Religions, there are some ground rules no one should be breaking, and privacy is one of them. Privacy is somehow sacred in most Religions, but the question is, how far are we concerned? This study aims to determine how privacy is lost by some services that aim to direct people towards their religious lives. A considerable number of people download religious apps to guide them with their daily spiritual practices. A thorough case study shows some apps with a religious aim yet misses religion’s central core by what they provide in the terms and conditions. A survey and several interviews have been conducted reflecting people’s concern on such a topic and how unaware they are of what they are approving. As concluded, privacy is a primary concern to many people, and we need to increase this aspect by raising awareness of the importance of reading the terms and conditions provided. For this reason, the exhibition “I am not a Robot!” will be launched to raise awareness of the importance of reading the terms and conditions presented on any platform. As the guests will see the real exposure, they are putting themselves in.
