A relay-based PID tuning rule applied in Labview

The purpose of this work is to investigate a Relay Based PID tuning rule using LabVIEW, in a view to its implementation in an industrial control setting. The work is meant for both academic teaching and professional training. This report describes the work done, the product, and some tests to assess its correct operation.

Lo scopo di questo lavoro è studiare una regola di taratura basata su relè per regolatori PID utilizzando LabVIEW, in vista della sua implementazione in un ambiente di controllo industriale. Il lavoro è pensato sia per l'insegnamento accademico che per la formazione professionale. Questo report descrive il lavoro svolto, il prodotto e alcuni test per valutarne il corretto funzionamento.
