The following Thesis work has been carried out in collaboration with Brembo S.p.A. during a six-months internship in the Logistic department of the Performance Group. The analysis aimed at providing the basis for the implementation of a Collaborative Cloud Platform able to improve the collaboration between the different departments and the suppliers, by connecting them through an agile, reliable, and unique information sharing point. The analysis started from the desire of the Logistic department to improve Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and Procurement activities. Therefore, the evaluation has been focused on Procure-to-Receive execution activities that Logistic Planners have to perform. At the moment of the analysis, the project was in an early stage, no budget and implementation time horizon had been defined by the company for the activity. Therefore, the analysis has been based only on qualitative aspects and it has been intended as a starting point for a further and more detailed study. At first, the AS-IS SRM system has been pointed out and the pain points affecting the tasks of all the involved departments have been identified to consider improvement actions for all the issues associated to supplier collaboration. Then, an Ideal SRM system has been defined to improve the AS-IS’s issues, considering both to vary the operational process, the information flow, and the used tools. The scope has been to reduce the non-added value activities and to save the human effort only for the exceptions. To do so, it has been considered to purchase a new software able to manage the Procure-to-Receive activities that the Logistic Planners must perform in their daily routine. The market of Collaborative Cloud Platforms has been scouted to give an overview of the different available software. Some of the many available providers addressing SRM processes have been directly interviewed to identify possible useful platforms able to meet the Ideal system requirements. A description of different platforms capabilities has been proposed and the associated benefits have been pointed out in terms of daily routine streamlining and strategic effects.

Abstract
The following Thesis work has been carried out in collaboration with Brembo S.p.A. during a six-months internship in the Logistic department of the Performance Group. The analysis aimed at providing the basis for the implementation of a Collaborative Cloud Platform able to improve the collaboration between the different departments and the suppliers, by connecting them through an agile, reliable, and unique information sharing point.
