Spazio materia. L'arte oltre la cornice. L'interazione tra arte, spazio e corpo in un progetto di allestimento museale

Spazio materia was born from the desire to fully investigate the relationship of art with space. Since the middle of the last century, art has undergone numerous changes and together with it also the relationship with the museum environment and the visitor. Thanks to this research, it set up an exhibition inside the Santa Teresa Mediatheque. The exhibition shows the spatiality of art in a structured path through different rooms, which investigate the theme from different points of view through a careful selection of works of art on display, multimedia installations and perceptive spatial environments.

Spazio materia nasce dalla volontà di volere indagare a pieno il rapporto dell’arte con lo spazio. A partire dalla metà del secolo scorso l’arte ha subito numerosi cambiamenti e insieme ad essa anche la relazione con l’ambiente museale e il visitatore. Da questa ricerca è nato un allestimento all’interno della Mediateca di Santa Teresa. La mostra racconta la spazialità dell’arte in un percorso strutturato nelle diverse sale, che affrontano il tema sotto diversi punti di vista tramite un’attenta curatela delle opere esposte, allestimenti multimediali e ambienti spaziali percettivi.
