The idea of this thesis is to create a theoretical Decision Support System (DSS) where the user would have the ability to set values such as stiffness, strength, weight, IP protection, service temperature, accuracy, cost, porosity, etc., for a printable 3D object. Then, the platform, according to the imported data, will recommend a series of scored combinations of AM technology and AM material for 3D printing.
