Paesaggi dimenticati. Sperimentazioni progettuali per la valorizzazione degli ambiti marginali del territorio di Posada

“Forgotten Landscape” means inhabiting apparently uninhabitable places. It is a space where to experience a new relationship between man, architecture and environment; It means decoding unknown geographies. It is a landscape project; It is interior design. The project focuses on landscapes that are difficult to decode, that make us experience a feeling of disorientation and restlessness, geographies whose discursive logic cannot be understood. Indeterminate spaces, with imprecise limits and uncertain uses, which are awaiting suspended between what they ceased to be and what they will be. They are the 'Terrain Vagues', free and indefinite territories on which different materials have stratified over time. They are those areas that Abalos and Herreros call 'Areas de Impunidad', lands of abandonment that more than others have suffered the scars of insipience, speculation and matter-and-form loss, which have made their identity uncertain. The project observes the 'Terzo Paesaggio' located on the outskirts of an uncertain and ever-changing urban area, considering it as an opportunity to build a new history and lay the foundations for a future project. Indefiniteness, indeterminateness and their charm are a brand-new type of territory which can host those hybridizations that form the space itself - a new space - within which other meanings are hidden. Territories which are apparently uninhabitable and less interesting than others, before being simply refused or rejected, have been investigated, explored and deciphered, with the aim of inhabiting them, bringing their essence back to light. When roaming in a territory where paths are not marked, the remains turn out to be traces and guides for possible future project. Indeed, these fragments have been read as presences within an anthropized territory that nature, which at first glance seemed to reject, has reabsorbed, transforming their meaning: the very integration and dialogue between nature and these 'ruins without splendor' has become the basis of this project. This project (re)writes these elements, (re)presenting them as devices that facilitate the decoding of a landscape that needs to be freed from anonymity and that is (re)born from the ruins, which are (re)interpreted as a means to give back to the landscape a starring role.

“Paesaggi Dimenticati” è abitare luoghi apparentemente inabitabili. È lo spazio per sperimentare un nuovo rapporto tra uomo, architettura ed ambiente; È rendere leggibili geografie ignote. È progetto di paesaggio; È progetto di interni. Il progetto pone lo sguardo verso Paesaggi dalla difficile lettura, di fronte ai quali si sperimenta una sensazione di disorientamento ed inquietudine, geografie di cui non si riesce a comprendere la logica discorsiva. Spazi dai limiti imprecisi e dagli usi incerti, in attesa e sospesi tra quello che hanno smesso di essere e quello che non si sa bene se saranno. Sono i 'Terrain Vagues', territori liberi ed indefiniti sui quali si sono stratificati materiali differenti nel tempo. Sono quelle aree che Abalos ed Herreros definiscono 'Areas de Impunidad', terre dell’abbandono che hanno subito sulla propria pelle gli sfregi dell’insipienza e della speculazione, privazioni di forma e di materia che le hanno rese incerte dal punto di vista identitario. Il progetto osserva il ‘Terzo Paesaggio' collocato ai margini dell’urbano considerandolo come opportunità per costruire una nuova storia e gettare le basi per il progetto futuro. L’indefinito, l’indeterminato ed il suo fascino costituiscono un nuovo tipo di territorio in grado di accogliere quelle ibridazioni che costruiscono proprio lo spazio - un nuovo spazio - entro cui transitano altri significati. Territori apparentemente inabitabili e meno interessanti di altri, prima di essere semplicemente negati o rifiutati, sono stati indagati, esplorati e decifrati, con l’obiettivo di abitarli, ritrovandone l’essenza. Muovendosi in un territorio in cui i percorsi non sono segnati, i residui si sono rivelati come tracce e guide per possibili azioni progettuali future. Questi frammenti sono stati infatti letti come presenze all’interno di un territorio antropizzato che la natura, che a primo impatto sembrava rigettare, ha riassorbito, trasformandoli di senso: proprio l’integrazione e il dialogo tra la natura e queste 'rovine senza splendore' è diventata la base del progetto. Il progetto (ri)scrive questi elementi, (ri)presentandoli come dispositivi che facilitano la decodificazione e la lettura di un paesaggio che ha bisogno di essere liberato dall’anonimato e che (ri)nasce proprio grazie agli scarti, che vengono (re)interpretati come tramite per riconsegnare al paesaggio il ruolo di protagonista.
