The dissertation aims at a strategic proposal for the repopulation of the abandoned Poveglia island in the Venice Lagoon. The premise is in the consideration that repopulating the abandoned islands network means an opportunity of defending the Lagoon ecosystem, essential for the physical surviving of the city of Venice, as his history tells from the beginnings. This issue, developed in the Drawing “Lagoon routes” that they illustrate the meanings of his past and they indicate the possible perspectives of his future, is essential for the future of the Venice Lagoon, considered a masterpiece “between the most beautiful and at the same time the most fragile in the planet”, created by the nature and the human beings. In confirming that the Venice Lagoon is one of the ecosystem more known in the world, the dissertation intention is to use all the accessible informations as a premise for a sustainable and conscious Project in the Lagoon habitat. The algae second life and the supply chain of his recycle and reuse, as described in the project drawings, proposes one of the possible projects, focusing a coordinated strategy for the individuation of an environmental and social cultural sustainability. The project proposes sustainable and social architectures as the building of the algae supply chain, and the other uses, the “Hortus” and the “Theater”, in which all the human activities, sustainable, living, tourism, will be managed following a perspective and a target as the ecological character of the Lagoon islands, in this case the Poveglia island.

Abstract
The project proposes sustainable and social architectures as the building of the algae supply chain, and the other uses, the “Hortus” and the “Theater”, in which all the human activities, sustainable, living, tourism, will be managed following a perspective and a target as the ecological character of the Lagoon islands, in this case the Poveglia island.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
