In recent years, many companies in the manufacturing sector are carrying out radical transformations in order to guarantee more sustainable products. We are experiencing times of unforeseen events that are transforming our lifestyle, consequently, also the packaging sector must welcome significant changes tending to the creation of a more ecological system, attentive to environmental issues, and inclined to the circular economy. Based on the research of consumers’ habits, this thesis addresses both the description of the design process of new packaging for edible oil but above all the design of a tool that can favor awareness of recycling exhausting oils. The final purpose of this thesis is in fact to implement the “rethinking process” towards the redesign of a bottle in order to reduce the pollution of the aquifers and favor the collection system of edible oil.

Abstract
In recent years, many companies in the manufacturing sector are carrying out radical transformations in order to guarantee more sustainable products. We are experiencing times of unforeseen events that are transforming our lifestyle, consequently, also the packaging sector must welcome significant changes tending to the creation of a more ecological system, attentive to environmental issues, and inclined to the circular economy. Based on the research of consumers’ habits, this thesis addresses both the description of the design process of new packaging for edible oil but above all the design of a tool that can favor awareness of recycling exhausting oils. The final purpose of this thesis is in fact to implement the “rethinking process” towards the redesign of a bottle in order to reduce the pollution of the aquifers and favor the collection system of edible oil.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
