The main theme of the thesis project is Artificial Intelligence and its use in the generative design of an industrial product. It will therefore be demonstrated how this technology can be combined with the figure of the designer. We will see how A.I needs to be programmed and "educated" through Machine Learning mechanisms with the acquisition and targeted entry of some data (deriving from market analyzes on products, predictive analyzes on users and / or trends, parametric design data, databases of previous projects, etc.). I will try to demonstrate how today these technologies can be combined with modern Additive Manufacturing processes - Professional 3D printing for B2C products. The computing power of the new AMD and Intel computers, made available thanks to the development of new professional processors, with the help of Cloud Computing, is put at the service of collaborative technologies and therefore allows us to go beyond what today are the constraints of design and production. Constraints dictated by a "limited" human creativity and bound by today's industrial production methods.

Abstract
Constraints dictated by a "limited" human creativity and bound by today's industrial production methods.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
