Optimizing the floor and the production performance by implementing the lean tools in the stitching unit of Yunus textile mill

The world is a merry-go-round and you cannot get off. Customers are becoming more demanding, markets are becoming more customized, and product lifecycles that are getting shorter are just a few of the reasons why Lean could be important to you. As the demands on our processes increase, they evolve and adapt accordingly, which often results in processes that end up inefficient and wasteful. Lean is about challenging the way things are done and opening our eyes to that waste and inefficiency. The environment in which an organization operates will continue to change; Lean can help organizations meet the challenge. I decided the textile industry as my target because with the passage of time this sector has gradually increased and today Pakistan is the 4th largest textile exporter Pakistan’s Textile industry plays a vital role in the global textile world and a significant role in the economy of Pakistan. The industry faces many ups and downs and faces a tough period in its history. Apart from the problems related to external factors, this sector also faced challenges regarding the internal matters which are related to wastage of product and resources, Over-processing, high production cost due to over production and overheads. As the sector is growing with good pace, meeting demand of customer within the deadline is crucial. For this reason, I believe lean is one of the best and authentic tools which can be used for the optimize the performance.

Il mondo è una giostra e non puoi scendere. I clienti che diventano più esigenti, i mercati che diventano più personalizzati e i cicli di vita dei prodotti che si abbreviano sono solo alcuni dei motivi per cui Lean potrebbe essere importante per te. Man mano che le richieste sui nostri processi aumentano, questi si evolvono e si adattano di conseguenza, il ché spesso si traduce nei processi che risultano inefficienti e dispendiosi. Lean significa sfidare il modo in cui le cose vengono fatte e aprire gli occhi su questo spreco e inefficienza. L'ambiente in cui opera un'organizzazione continuerà a cambiare; Lean può aiutare le organizzazioni ad affrontare la sfida. Ho deciso che l'industria tessile era il mio obiettivo perché con il passare del tempo questo settore si è gradualmente sviluppato e oggi il Pakistan è il quarto più grande esportatore di tessuti. L'industria tessile del Pakistan svolge un ruolo vitale nell'economia del Pakistan e in quella globale. Il settore affronta molti alti e bassi e affronta un periodo difficile della sua storia. Oltre ai problemi relativi a fattori esterni, questo settore ha dovuto affrontare anche le sfide relative alle questioni interne legate allo spreco di prodotto e risorse, elaborazione eccessiva, costi di produzione elevati dovuti a produzione eccessiva e spese generali. Poiché il settore sta crescendo con un buon ritmo, è fondamentale soddisfare velocemente la domanda della clientela. Per questo motivo, credo che lean sia uno degli strumenti migliori e autentici che possono essere utilizzati per ottimizzare le prestazioni.
