The tobacco market is a highly dynamic market that has seen a strong evolution in product terms in recent years. In particular, consumers and consequently manufacturers are increasingly oriented towards less harmful products that reduce the known risks associated with smoking. The demand for these new products in powder form is also reflected in the dynamics of industrial production; production has to be redesigned on the basis of the new process conditions required to obtain the new product. This thesis aims to study the physical and chemical phenomena behind the new production processes. The thesis will solve the problem from the point of view of chemical and physical principles, the operating conditions and limits imposed by the plant may certainly be modified or different for different applications or for the same in the future but the phenomena governing the process will be the same, this approach therefore seeks to be as robust as possible.

Abstract
The tobacco market is a highly dynamic market that has seen a strong evolution in product terms in recent years. In particular, consumers and consequently manufacturers are increasingly oriented towards less harmful products that reduce the known risks associated with smoking. The demand for these new products in powder form is also reflected in the dynamics of industrial production; production has to be redesigned on the basis of the new process conditions required to obtain the new product. This thesis aims to study the physical and chemical phenomena behind the new production processes. The thesis will solve the problem from the point of view of chemical and physical principles, the operating conditions and limits imposed by the plant may certainly be modified or different for different applications or for the same in the future but the phenomena governing the process will be the same, this approach therefore seeks to be as robust as possible.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
