Cities are society’s centres of human interaction, creativity, knowledge, diversity, culture, commerce and economic creativity. The accretion of several layers of history tends to reveal a great deal about the city's past, present and even future. Historic city centres are usually endowed with a multitude of historic buildings, heritage sites and the like... The rehabilitation and conservation of historic city centres serve as a fundamental catalyst for change. Furthermore, urban regeneration of the historical city centres also promotes social interaction between inhabitants of the city, and the adoption of its urban spaces encourage public activity. The area of Chabahar city has undergone strategic plans for urban regeneration, development and beautification. Moreover, various attempts have been made for the improvement of their environmental quality and ecological performance. This is through increases in urban green spaces and public parks. In essence, many urban regeneration plans have been aimed at conserving and preserving buildings and sites that are considered city heritage and legacy. Chabahar had been one of the most important ports of Iran which are located in the southeast of the country. The old town is located in the West corner of the city face to the Chabahar gulf. The old town buildings with historic textures contain a variety of building types with different functions that reflect the identity of the city. Over the years, the historical texture has lost its characteristics and people have been moving from the old town. This project is an attempt to diagnose and propose solutions for such problems to create an inhabitable and attractive environment for the residents.
Le città sono i centri della società di interazione umana, creatività, conoscenza, diversità, cultura, commercio e creatività economica. L'accrescimento di diversi strati della storia tende a rivelare molto sul passato, presente e persino futuro della città. I centri storici delle città sono generalmente dotati di una moltitudine di edifici storici, siti del patrimonio e simili... La riabilitazione e la conservazione dei centri storici delle città fungono da catalizzatore fondamentale per il cambiamento. Inoltre, la rigenerazione urbana dei centri storici promuove anche l'interazione sociale tra gli abitanti della città e l'adozione dei suoi spazi urbani incoraggia l'attività pubblica. L'area della città di Chabahar ha subito piani strategici per la rigenerazione urbana, lo sviluppo e l'abbellimento. Inoltre, sono stati fatti vari tentativi per il miglioramento della loro qualità ambientale e delle prestazioni ecologiche. Questo attraverso l'aumento degli spazi verdi urbani e dei parchi pubblici. In sostanza, molti piani di rigenerazione urbana sono stati finalizzati alla conservazione e alla conservazione di edifici e siti considerati patrimonio e patrimonio della città.
