The high-rise residential project is located in the Kowloon district of Hong Kong, backed by a mountain peak and surrounded by schools and some of Hong Kong's traditional residential areas and traditional high-rise housing, while the surrounding area retains old markets and temples left over from the last century. The project starts from the urban scale, studying and analyzing the urban changes around the unique cultural context of Hong Kong's Kowloon district such as Kowloon City and the transformation of the airport. At the same time, the architectural site design is interconnected according to the specificity of the site, i.e. the connection with the traditional market, in an attempt to connect and energize the market. Due to the connection with the mountain range, it feels like the urban planning design principles of Hong Kong, the building height keeps the mountain range centered and in harmony with the overall city skyline of Hong Kong. Three hollowed out landscape sections were designed based on the principles of feng shui ventilation and visual treatment, as well as a functional division, with functional connections and distinctions between students, families, hotels and public facilities forming the thematic pulse of the building.

Three hollowed out landscape sections were designed based on the principles of feng shui ventilation and visual treatment, as well as a functional division, with functional connections and distinctions between students, families, hotels and public facilities forming the thematic pulse of the building.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
